    • The enemy perished in the water, the Egyptians, our sins and old man. Ro.6:3-7

GOD’S FAITHFULNESS

    • Israel had 603,550 men – double for wives, add children and old people, 2.5 million

    • The wilderness could not supply this many people, especially for 40 yrs, but God did.

      • God supplies quail and manna Ex.16:8

      • God supplies protection, light at night, pillar of cloud in day, Ex.13:21

GOD’S GENTLENESS

  • 10 Commandments Ex.20:1-17

    • Love the Lord your God with all your:  Mk.12:29-31

      • – God is omniscient, all knowing - no other gods

        • This frees us from having to investigate all world/other religions, Eph.4:4-6

      • – God is omnipresent – everywhere – no images

        • This places God in your soul, not in a building, Ac.17:22-31; Ro.8:9-11

      • Mind – God is omnipotent, all powerful, do not use His name in vain

        • Do not promote evil activity in His name, engage your brain, Mt.10:16

      • – God is omnibenevolent – all caring - keep the Sabbath holy

        • God cares for our well being, you need a day of rest, Heb.4:9-10

    • Love Your Neighbor: these next 3 sins effect those around you.

      • Honor your mother and father – Eph.6:1-3 Learn to respect authority.

        • Failing here makes one a detriment to society, no respect of law and order, Ro.13:1f

      • Do not murder – Mt.5:21-26 not even have hate in your heart, failing this puts you on the brink of uncontrolled sinful behaviors, Jm.1:14-15

      • Do not commit adultery – Mt.5:27-32; do not violate your vows or another’s.

      • Eph.4:19; The flood gate to hell. “If it feels so right, how can it be so wrong?”

    • As you Love Yourself: these 3 sins destroy the inner man

      • Do not steal – Eph.4:28; 1Th.3:10 get a job so you can share with those in need
