And we are empowered to help others come to God.

ARE YOU USING YOUR TALENTS TO BLESS OTHERS?
NUMBERS 6:23-27

    “Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying,

                     ‘Thus you shall bless the sons of Israel. You shall say to them:

                                       The LORD bless you, and keep you;

                                       The LORD make His face shine on you,
                                                    And be gracious to you;

                                       The LORD lift up His countenance on you,
                                                    And give you peace.’

                     So they shall put My Name on the sons of Israel,

                                  and I will bless them.”

My Name - YHWH - Jehovah - LORD?

  • Gen.1:1;   In the beginning God (ELOHIIM = gods)

  • Gen.1:26; Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image…

  • Isa.48:16; And now the LORD God has sent Me, and His Spirit

  • Mt.28:19;  baptizing them in the NAME of the Father and the Son and the HS

  • 2Cor.13:14; The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.

  • 1Pe.1:2;    the foreknowledge of God the Father, by the sanctifying work of the Spirit, to obey Jesus Christ…

  • Ac.4:12; And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.”

1. Work of the Spirit:

Bless You - divine care - wisdom from above,

  • Jn.14:13; But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.

  • Ac.2:38; Peter said to them, “Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

  • 1Jn.2:27; As for you, the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but as His anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as He has taught you, you abide in Him.

Keep You - watch over, protect -

  • Ro.8:26; In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words;

  • 1Cor.10:13; No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.

2. The Work of the Son:

Make His Face Shine Upon You -

  • 1Jn.1:17-18; For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ. No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten God who is in the bosom of the Father, He has (explained Him.) shown the way

  • Jn.14:6; Jesus *said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

  • 1Jn.1:6-7; If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.

Be Gracious to You -

  • Lk.11:13; If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?” (God gives to the HS who in turn gives to us.)

3. The Work of the Father:

Lift His Countenance on You -

  • Gen.4:6-7; Then the Lord said to Cain, “Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen? 7 If you do well, will not your countenance be lifted up? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door; and its desire is for you, but you must master it.”

  • Mt.6:14-15; For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions.

  • 1Cor.14:13; for God is not of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.

          So they shall put My Name on the sons of Israel,

                    and I will bless them.”

The triple blessing opens the mind to make room for the Godhead.

When they did this, then God blessed them.

A great scripture to memorize, not only as a blessing for others, especially if they ask for an explanation but also a great blessing for yourself to confirm in your heart where all blessings come.

Jam.1:17; Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.
